1.6 8v GTE/GSI Conversion (Nova)

Supply and fit a GTE/GSI 1.6 8v Nova engine and F13 gearbox into a Nova, basically drive in with the original 1.0-1.4 and drive out with the 1.6. Includes removal of the old engine, fitting of the 1.6 8v, all relevant wiring and anything else required to get it running as well as all new fluids.

Depending upon the model of the car to start with the fuel tank and pump may need to changed to the Nova multi-point injection items. If so another £100 will need to be added to the above. If the car had a single-point injection engine to start with only the pump needs to be changed, a multi-point injection internal pump can be used instead. If so then add £50 for just the pump.

To do all of the above and supply and fit 2lt 16v front brakes with new discs and pads.

1.6 8v GTE/GSI Conversion (Corsa B)

Exactly the same as for the Nova, only difference is the fuel tank doesn't need to be changed only the fuel pump needs to be changed if it was originally a single-point injection engine in the car.

2.0lt 16v / 2.0lt 8v Conversion (Nova and Corsa B)

Basic price and work done if the engine and gearbox is supplied by the customer (excluding the C20let Turbo engine)

  • Removal of old engine and fitting of the 2lt
  • Brand new drive shafts complete with new inner and outer Cv joints supplied and fitted
  • Custom made engine mounts with the choice of hard or soft rubbers in, supplied and fitted
  • Engine bay welded, strengthened, alternator cut out in chassis leg (Nova only) and painted
  • Exhaust manifold modified to fit the Nova / Corsa system (exhaust not included in this price)
  • Modify bottom pulley (Nova Only)
  • Gear linkage modified
  • All relevant wiring done
  • Any other bits supplied by the customer I.e. brakes, suspension and exhaust fitted in the price as well.
  • All water system plumbed in with new fluid

If the car having the conversion is a Corsa then a power cap or top hose off an eco tech will be needed as the SFI doesn't not clear the bulk head unlike the nova. The average time we quote to do the conversion is normally 2 weeks for which will need the car.

All of the above but for us to supply the engine, gearbox and all other bits required to get it running.

To supply engine, box, everything to get it running, brand new coilovers, 2lt front brakes and stainless steel exhaust. Basically drive in as a standard Nova/Corsa and drive out with a complete 2lt 16v Nova/ Corsa with the relevant brakes, suspension and exhaust.

2.0lt 16v Turbo C20let Conversion (Nova and Corsa B)

Basic price and work done if the engine, gearbox and everything needed to get it running including an inter cooler is supplied by the customer.

  • Removal of old engine and fitting of the 2lt
  • Brand new drive shafts complete with new inner and outer Cv joints supplied and fitted
  • Custom made engine mounts with the choice of hard or soft rubbers in, supplied and fitted.
  • Gear linkage modified
  • New mount made and welded to the inner wing if using the F28 6 speed gearbox
  • F28 converted to 2wd and drill an tapped in order to fit back mount
  • Front cross member modified to fit inter cooler (depending on what inter cooler is used) and mount the inter cooler
  • Engine bay welded, strengthened, alternator cut out in chassis leg (Nova only) and painted
  • Exhaust manifold modified to fit the Nova / Corsa system (exhaust not included in this price)
  • Modify bottom pulley (Nova Only)
  • All relevant wiring done
  • Any other bits supplied by the customer I.e. brakes, suspension and exhaust fitted in the price as well.
  • All water system plumbed in with new fluid

If exhaust is being supplied then the system needs to be a minimum of 2.5 inch bore.

2lt 16v Turbo Conversion (Corsa C Z20let)

  • Custom made engine mounts with the choice of hard or soft rubbers in, supplied and fitted.
  • Gear linkage modified (changed to cable if not already)
  • All relevant wiring done
  • Any other bits supplied by the customer I.e. brakes, suspension and exhaust fitted in the price as well.
  • All water system plumbed in with new fluid
  • Exhaust modified to fit

Drive shafts

Brand new 2lt drive shafts with new Cv joints both ends, slot straight into the big block gear box and into the standard outer hub of the Nova / Corsa.

22 Spline inner Cv joints

Inner Cv joints to fit the 22 spline Nova / Corsa drive shafts and into the big block gearbox. Come with everything needed to fit to the shaft.
